How to Detox body.
Diwali is
celebrated with great enthusiasm in India. This festival, which starts from
Vasubaras, lasts till Bhaubija. On the occasion of this festival, the house is
decorated with colors. The house is cleaned. Sweet dishes like Karanja, Laddu,
Shankarpale and spicy dishes like Chaklaya, Chivda are prepared at home. A
large amount of clothes, jewelry, crackers, desserts, snacks etc. are bought.
Friends and family members visit each other's houses to give and receive good
wishes. Families scattered due to work and business come together to celebrate
Diwali. There is an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm in the house. The lighting
of lamps, the bursting of crackers and the taste of desserts double the joy of
Diwali. However, while enjoying this joy of Diwali, we neglect our body and its
side effects start to be seen on our body and mind after Diwali. Therefore, it
is very important to detox our body.
Side effects
During the
period of Deepawali, our lifestyle changes completely. Our eating habits
change. During this period, we unknowingly exert ourselves and eat more than
the prescribed amount. Due to this, we see some of the following side effects.
1. Weight gain
During
Deepawali, our eating habits change. During this period, apart from eating, we
unknowingly indulge in sweet foods at the insistence of our family and friends.
Fried foods like chaklaya, karanja, laddu, chivda, which contain a lot of
sugar, are included in our diet, which increases our weight.
2. Depression
From before the
start of Deepawali to the end of Deepawali, there is an atmosphere of great joy
and excitement in the house. A person is busy preparing for Deepawali. After
that, during Deepawali, he meets his friends and family and spends his days
happily. During this period, he has a lot of fun. He goes for walks. He enjoys
dishes that make his mind happy. Due to this, his mind remains cheerful. But as
soon as Diwali ends, our routine life starts and this sudden change leads the
person to depression. The person feels disappointed, until the habit that his
body has become accustomed to is restored, disappointment remains in his mind.
Not only this, but the expenditure and extra effort made during this period
also make the person depressed.
Five essential things for body purification.
1. Eat a balanced diet
To reduce the
weight gained during Diwali, a person needs to eat a nutritious and balanced
diet. The diet should include fruits, vegetables, leafy vegetables and pulses.
This gives him the right amount of fiber. The amount of sugar in the food
should be reduced for a few days. A pure sattvic diet helps in reducing the
weight that has been gained.
2. Drink water
Along with a
balanced diet, a person should drink the right amount of water. A person should
consume at least eight to ten glasses of water throughout the day. Drinking
water keeps the weight of the person limited. The water in the body helps in
keeping the person energetic and happy.
3. Getting enough sleep
Along with a
balanced healthy diet, eight to ten glasses of water, a person needs to get
enough sleep. During and before Diwali, a person is awake. In fact, his
lifestyle has changed. Although not getting enough sleep is not felt during
Diwali, it is felt later in the day because the person feels tired due to lack
of sleep. Therefore, a person needs to get at least seven to eight hours of
sleep. Adequate sleep refreshes a person and also controls his weight.
4. Exercising
It is very important
for a person to exercise. Going for a walk in the morning and evening, doing
yoga, going to the gym, doing aerobics. The type of exercise that suits the
person's health should be done for at least 20 to 25 minutes according to his
age. The extra calories that we consume during Diwali are reduced by
exercising. The increased weight is controlled. Moreover, sleep is also good.
5. Pranayama
Pranayama
should be done for peace of mind along with the body. Pranayama done in the
presence of fresh air and nature purifies the lungs. The smoke of firecrackers
inhaled through the lungs causes respiratory diseases, during this time the air
quality is low. Pollution is high. This smoke and the air in this time are not
only troublesome for those who have asthma. But it is also troublesome for
those who are healthy, so due to pranayama, clean air enters the lungs and the
pollution comes out. At the same time, it helps to calm the mind.
